Bowls is a low impact sport which is skillful and a great way to give your body regular exercise whilst you challenge your brain.
If you aren’t as competitive in other sports as you would like to be then perhaps bowls is the game for you?
Club Sapphire, home of the Merimbula Dolphins, has one of Australia’s most competitive bowls programs having won multiple state and national titles over recent years.
The club is coached by former Australian skipper Michael Wilks and caters for all demographics. We currently have some of the state's best juniors, 40- to 60-year-olds, and seniors in both men’s and women's competition and are always looking for more people to join us. Membership is only $75 for the first year which includes expert coaching from Michael along with access to the club's state of the art equipment.
Roll ups and practice are available daily:
From 9.30 am for members
From 11 am for visitors
Subject to green availability
All people rolling up must sign the register located on the table between the greens. This register does not entitle them to access the main club, they must sign in at reception to use the facilities.
A fee of $5 applies to non Merimbula members wishing to use our bowls facilities, this can be paid to front reception.
