One of the Best Value Golf Courses in Australia!

Golf Australia July 2009The golf course at Club Sapphire Tura was featured in the July 2009 edition of Golf Australia in an article titled "Recession Busters - the best 50 courses you can play for $50 or less".

The article says, "The past few years have been kind to the Tura Beach Country Club."

"A merger with the nearby Merimbula Bowling Club has injected funds into the clubhouse and improving the golf course's conditioning to fully complement the very good Peter Thomson and Mike Wolveridge Design."

"The greens have improved markedly as has the bunkering while the fairways now boast a good cover year round."

Green fees of only $33 a round place the course at Tura among the cheapest 10 courses featured in the article.  After being rated the best course on the Sapphire Coast in the May 2009 edition of Australian Golf Digest, we believe this makes our course one of the best value rounds of golf in Australia!

It's Official: Tura has the best golf course on the Sapphire Coast!
Australian Golf Digest article"...given the calibre of courses on offer – this might just be the best-value golf destination around."

Steve Keipert, Editor Australian Golf Digest, May 2009

Steve went on to rate Tura Beach as the best course on the Sapphire Coast:

"It’s a close contest, but this is the pick of the Sapphire Coast’s golf courses. The mix of holes and constructive use of the undulating terrain in the design are excellent."
