"...given the calibre of courses on offer – this might just be the best-value golf destination around."

- Steve Keipert, Editor Australian Golf Digest, May 2009

We are justifiably proud of our championship golf course here at the Tura Beach Country Club.

Tura Beach Country Club rated 74 in the list of top 100 public access courses in AustraliaThe 18 hole course was opened in 1982 by its designers Peter Thomson and Mike Woolveridge.  Since that time it has matured into a picturesque and challenging course for golfers of all levels.

In February 2011 the course was rated number 74 in the list of top 100 public access courses in Australia published by Golf Australia Magazine.

Bermagui and Pambula-Merimbula also made the top 100 list, making the Far South Coast of New South Wales an exceptional golfing destination.

Wollongong's Chris Campbell and young Novocastrian Brendan Smith shared the honours in the Bega Valley pro-am golf tournament held on the challenging Tura Beach lay-out last week. Their winning score of -11 consisted of matching rounds of 64 and 71.

Their brilliant -9 first round scores of 64 equal the course record, which only three players have achieved previously.
